Vietnam's mountainous terrain and winding roads make it the perfect destination for motorbike tours. Unlike bus tours, riding a motorbike allows for a more enjoyable and suitable experience. However, before 2000, there were limited options for foreign tourists interested in motorbike tours. Many had to rent scooters and navigate on their own, without much guidance or safety precautions.

Thankfully, three Hanoi motorcyclists named Long, Chung, and Cuong emerged as pioneers and began renting out motorbikes to foreign tourists while showing them the best routes, accommodations, and sights to see. In 2004, they founded Vietnam Motorbike Tour Expert Co. Ltd. and began offering short motorbike tours in northern Vietnam.
